Genuine, name-brand batteries matter more than almost anything else you buy for a mod, the wrong or a fake one is a real safety risk, not just a performance issue. Use a proper external charger, never a random USB cable, and don’t carry a loose battery with keys or coins in a pocket or bag.
Check your mod’s manual for the exact size it needs before buying. 18650 is common, but not every mod uses it.
